Erik Swenson
Founder and CTO

All our tech-heads report to Eric. A physicist
by training, he received his M.S. in Computational Physics from San Jose State.
He worked on all sorts of cool technologies
as part of National Semiconductor’s
Advanced Development Group
before joining
Extreme Networks
founding team
in the ASIC design group. Erik later served as Extreme Networks’ chief architect and director of ASIC design.
He has six patents issued and more than
20 in the
pipeline.
Pretty
impressive, huh?

Nirmal Nair
Director of Engineering

Nirmal, the grand poo-bah of all things engineering, earned his M.S. from Iowa State University and a B.E. from REC, Trichy. He has 15+ years of development and management experience (a.k.a lots of cold pizza) working
with a broad range of software companies.
Nirmal had lots of preparation for his duties here at DVC Labs, having spent 10 years at Pinnacle Systems in the U.S. and Europe. Before that,
he was the principal engineer and architect at Sirius Systems Corporation, a mechanical
CAM visualization
company, and
the co-founder
of Arete Software, a
start-up focusing on mechanical processes simulation.
As you can
see, this is one impressive dude.

Nitin Bhandari
Founder and CEO

Nitin, our fearless leader, received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from CalTech in Pasadena (he still feels
like they accepted his application by mistake). As the
Sr. Manager of Adv Dev Group at Extreme Networks,
he and his very able group were very busy raking in
more than $60M in greenbacks every year. They did
not leave any potential opportunity untapped from Power Systems to Wireless LAN products to 10GbE interface products. Before
gravitating towards management and business aspects
of the company, Nitin developed a solid foundation of engineering as the company's first SignalIntegrity
engineer. With two patents issued and several pending, when does he have time
to sleep?
